Watercolor Botanicals and Basic Florals

Learn the art of botanical watercolor painting with Jude Wiesenfeld.

Art is a lifetime passion of Jude’s. She is an award winning classically trained watercolor, oil and color pencil artist. Jude has taken commissions in portraits and sold paintings all over the world, exhibiting in exhibitions with the Valley Artist’s Guild, private exhibits, the Botanical Artists Guild of Southern California, CVWS, DAC and is on the Service Council for the Palm Springs Art Museum.

The class will focus on botanicals on watercolor paper and on vellum. We will include a study of insects, with an in depth look at the subject as well as techniques composition.

Time: Tuesdays, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Location: Desert Art Center, Small Studio

Cost: $100 for 4 classes, $30 for 1 class
